Wilderness Trips and Youth Events

Grace Lutheran Church encourages participation in Wilderness Trips. Wilderness trips are on a rotating yearly basis with a local trip, a trip out west and the next year EYG (ELCA Youth Gathering). The local Wilderness Trip focuses on brushing relationships with confirmation students and their families. Local trips have been to Isle Royale and The Porcupine Mountains. The bigger trip out west focuses on youth and their families with connections to other church members including the OWLS (Older Wiser Lutherans). The bigger trips include trips to Cloud Peak in the Wyoming Mountains and to Glacier National Park. The trip to EYG is for youth in High School to encourage youth to explore their faith through community, worship and service. This event occurs every three years.
