All Saints Remembered

We remember those who have died

11/1/2023– 11/01/2024

We will honored our saints on Saturday and Sunday November 2 & 3.

All who have died in the past year, from November 1, 2023 to November 1, 2024, were remembered at the “All Saints” worship on Saturday and Sunday, November 2 and 3.  We also had time to remember loved ones who have died in the past. Naming our grief and putting our loved ones into God’s hands is a powerful act for our faith, spirit, emotions, and mind.  We are reminded of  God’s eternal life, forgiveness, and salvation that is placed in our hands in Holy Communion that gives peace, hope, and strength to our lives. November 1st is All Saints Day or All Hallows Day (the night before is Hallows Evening or Halloween.)  It is a twelve-hundred-year tradition in the church to remember those who have died and place them and our grief in God’s hands.  We do this during our worship on the Sunday following November 1.
